Cats and the Canary, the only band that specialises in Greek swing in Australia, are back in Sydney for a special night! The Melbourne-based band has worked meticulously over the last six months to find and perfect classic songs made famous by Greek films. The songs have been rearranged by the band, using contemporary sounds and rhythms and feature electric guitar, trumpet, electric bass, keys and drums. You’ll hear classics from Manolis Hiotis, Aliki Vougiouklaki, Rena Vlahopoulou, and many more. The programme also includes Greek rock, swing and entechna.
