To be launched in association with the Cyprus Community of NSW, Professor Tamis’s new monograph investigates, documents and critically analyses the immigration experience and settlement in Australia of approximately 80,000 Cypriots (Greek and Turkish) from 1880 to 2020. The book describes the settlement patterns of
Cypriots in all Australian States and Territories, their communal organization, their economic, cultural, and social progress, and their relations with other ethnic communities, as well as with their island of origin.
