Impressions of Greece: Costume and Performance

Exhibition
Identity is more than just where you are from – it is the traditions, dress, dance, song and food that are passed down from generation to generation. This pop-up exhibition highlights the regional identities of Greece through historic costumes from the Hellenic Lyceum Sydney collection, paired with photographs of Greece, taken by William J. Woodhouse between 1890-1910. Performances of regional dances and music will be held throughout the weekend in conjunction with floor talks by experts in dress, dance and music.
