Two Authors Collide: From the Birth of the Games to the Stolen Parthenon Marbles

Dr John A. Martino from Melbourne, of Greek and Italian heritage, will speak about the recently published novel Olympia: The Birth of the Games, of which he is co-author with Michael P. O’Kane, while Billy Cotsis from Sydney will launch his own new novel, Aegean Seven: Take Back the “Elgin” Marbles. The event will focus on two of the most important creations of Greek antiquity – the Olympics and the Parthenon marbles – and will aim to build a broader appreciation of the significance and controversies they represent in our modern era.
