The film follows a group of marginalised Pontian Greek teenagers, from their adventures in the Athens suburb of Menidi to petty thefts and turning tricks in Omonia Square. Recent immigrants from Kazakhstan, they want to conquer the world. Sasha clashes with his father and the construction job he hates, while Panagiotis falls for a hooker he is supposed to be keeping tabs on. Things come to a head when one of their friends dies from a bad heroin batch.
Screened in a newly restored digital copy (DCP), with English subtitles and Greek subtitles for the deaf or hard-of-hearing (SDH).
It is a condition of entry to the Australian National Maritime Museum that all persons aged 16 years and over either:
