1821 - 2021 The Free and Brave Hellenes

The students of the Greek Afternoon and Saturday schools of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW will present a storyline of events that led to the declaration of the Revolution of 1821, the battles and sacrifices of the brave Hellenes and the formation of the first free Greek state. Students will perform short plays on Greeks who have made their mark in the world over the past 200 years. Giorgos Zambetas and George Papanicolaou are just two of the prominent Hellenes presented.
